The Origins of Pirate Lester
A lot of people don't know this, but in highschool my sister drew a hilarious series of comics about a pirate named Lester. Unfortunately, only one of those comics still remain, the rest have been lost or thrown away. The picture below describes how Lester came to be a pirate, click for larger image.

You stupid monkey!
Most of my work days, I feel one or both of these:
Worker Drone!
Self Explanatory!
...all the while feeling like one or both of these:
Drained!
Lame :)Still, I gotta love my team. Best ever.

You know you're lame when...
...you're listening to your iPod on the bus, and someone's cell phone starts ringing and the ringtone is really loud rap music, and your first thought is "Your rap interrupted my Backstreet Boys jam!"

High over the moon, around the stars and back to earth to you
It's a weird, contemplative afternoon all of a sudden.
I was just hoping to kill some time listening to music at the computer, so I went on thesixtyone and a new song started playing, and it got me to thinking about nothing in particular I guess, because then the snow that looked ugly outside started to look beautiful. It helps that there's an amazing spruce tree as the backdrop to watching it all drift and swirl by.
If anyone's looking for a good song to watch the snow fall to, try and find We Could Be Friends by Freelance Whales.

My Life
A late night at work.
Twenty-sixth day in a row,
Not counting pre-Nov.
Will it ever end?
Optimism states "For sure!"
Reality: No.
Do I like my job?
Indeed, and I love my team,
But late hours are rough.
